Birmingham has a great range of individual boutiques and a few weeks ago, I was invited down to the launch of the new collection from locally based brand The Alice Boutique. Found in the Great Western Arcade, right in the heart of the city, The Alice Boutique is a beautiful collection of Alice in Wonderland themed products containing everything from teapots and prints to gift wrap and cushions. Created by local girl, Tracie Bedwood, everything in the range has either been designed by Tracie herself or hand picked from other local designers - meaning there is a whole load of super creative talent behind the range.

Their new collection, "Simply Alice" is a gorgeous range of mugs and coasters featuring some of the traditional Alice in Wonderland illustrations by John Tenniel and some of the most loved quotes from the book. To launch the new range we were transported down the rabbit hole into The Bureau's very own wonderland where we got a sneak peak at the new range, took some snaps in the the alice style photo booth and played flamingo croquet on the Queen of Heart's green! We were also treated to some wonderland themed cocktails and canapés, which were delicious. As a big Alice in Wonderland fan, I absolutely loved the products - they would be perfect as a gift for any literary geeks like me! I think my favourite has to be the Queen of Hearts mug - she is just too damn sassy!

If you want to see The Alice Boutique's full collection, log on to their website here, or head down to The Handmade Boutique.

What do you think of the range?
