The Event Post #4: Benefit's World Cup Bene-pub

I have to say the arrival of the world cup doesn't fill me with the imminent dread that it does for many girls as I am a bit of secret football fan. With that in mind, when I heard about Benefit taking over a London pub to create a super girly and super PINK environment for girls to enjoy the matches (props to the benefit pr/marketing team for coming up with the best idea ever!) I knew I had to pay a visit. On Saturday night, I finally got the chance to pop down and embrace the fuschia football fever that has taken over Gabbi's Head on Drury Lane with a couple of my friends and it was MAGICAL.

First and foremost the Raspberry Mojito was delicious and went down far too easily. The pub is serving a range of girly cocktails and snacks to enjoy while you watch (or don't watch) the games.

There was also a Fußball table, a darts board and two beauty stations manned by Benefit make up artists to keep you entertained away from the football. I had a 10 minute make over where I tried out the Fine One One 2 in 1 blusher and highlighter and fell completely in love! I also got to have a demo of the new they're real! push-up liner which also made a bit of a lasting impression! What's even better is all the make overs and beauty treatments are free, with a donation to the charity refuge being optional.

We managed to get a great spot on one of the lovely leather sofas, slap bang in front of the big screen to watch Holland vs Costa Rica, but there is loads of seating dotted around the pub for you to chill out and relax.

If you are a girly girl who doesn't mind being surrounded by a sea of pink then this is definitely the place for you. The Bene-pub is open until the 13th July so if you haven't been already, get yourself down there before the final whistle on Sunday!
